Heart of the Artist

I worship you, Lord God of heaven, for you are the great and awesome God who keeps his promises and faithfully loves your own (Nehemiah 1:5).

I worship you, Lord, for, in spite of my waywardness, you are still faithful. You are always true to who you are(Romans 3:3-4).

Blessed are you, O Lord, the God of Israel our father, forever and ever. Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and you are exalted as head over all. Both riches and honor come from you, and you rule over all. In your hand are power and might, and in your hand it is to make great and to give strength to all. And now I thank you, my God, and praise your glorious name (1 Chronicles 29:10-13).

I worship you, O God, for you are kind. Help me never to take advantage of your kindness and patience, but to always respond with repentance and submission to your will (Romans 2:4).

I praise you, Lord, for you are the God who knows me intimately. You know my heart and see through all my hidden motives. When I seek you, you see to it that I find you (1 Chronicles 28:9).

Lord, I worship you for you are my light, my salvation, and the stronghold of my life. I am thoroughly convinced that I shall look upon your goodness in the land of the living. I worship your son, Jesus Christ, who someday will transform my lowly body to be like his glorious body and who has subjected all things to himself (Psalm 27:1, 13; Philippians 3:20-21).

I worship you, God, for since the creation of the world your invisible attributes—your eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen in all that you created. So we have no choice but to bow down and worship you for you are eternally worthy of our highest praise (Romans 1:20-23, 25).

There is none like you, O Lord, and there is no God besides you, nothing compares to what we’ve heard about you with our own ears (1 Chronicles 17:20).

O Lord, I praise you for the good news of your gospel for it is the power of God for salvation, first for the Jews and then for everyone else (Romans 1:16-17).

Blessed are you, Lord, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting! (1 Chronicles 16:36).
