Heart of the Artist

I praise you, O Lord my God, for you are a god who is near. You are there whenever I call upon you (Deuteronomy 4:7).

I praise you, Jesus, for your love is real and personal (Mark 10:21). 

I worship you, O Lord my God, for you are holy (Leviticus 11:44; 1 Peter 1:15-16). 

I worship you, Jesus, for all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to you and you alone (Matthew 28:18).

I worship you, Lord God, for you are merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness, keeping love for a thousand generations, forgiving wickedness, rebellion, and sin (Exodus 34:6-7).

I worship you, O God, for with you all things are possible (Matthew 19:23-26).

I praise you, Lord, for I have indeed seen your glory and you are good, gracious, and merciful (Exodus 33:18-19). 

I worship you, O Christ, for you are resplendent with light from God the Father, whose voice of Majestic Glory spoke over you: “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased (Matthew 17:1-8; 2 Peter 1:16-17). 

I worship you, O God, for you are my healer. Please heal my physical, emotional, and psychological infirmities (Exodus 15:26).

Dear Jesus, some believe you were a great teacher. Others think you were just a great man. But who do I say you are? You are the Christ, the Son of the Living God. I worship you, for God the Father has revealed to us that you are indeed Lord (Matthew 16:13-17).
